Changing Climate, Changing Colors with Contemporary Muslim Artists Curated by Mareena W. Daredia, Changing Climate, Changing Colors provides insights into positions taken by contemporary Muslim artists and reflects a sense of cultural, religious, and personal identity. The work features a diverse group of artists hailing from South Asian, Middle and Far Eastern cultures. This exhibition brings together an innovative collection of painting, drawing, printmaking, calligraphy, photography, mixed-media works, digital/animation, video, sculpture, installation, and performance by 24 Muslim Artists

Multimedia Artist Residency BCAT/Brooklyn Community Access Television and Rotunda Gallery, a not-for-profit exhibition space for contemporary art invite artists to submit applications for the 2007 multimedia artist residency program. The goal is to assist artists interested in exploring video and/or multimedia as an artistic medium at no cost, and to provide training and technical assistance in video and digital production and post-production technologies.

Photo Exhibit for Charity Madhu Chanamolu Photography Exhibition featuring images from Southeast and South Asia. Sales from this exhibit will benefit The Akshaya Patra Foundation, a non-profit organization that ensures no child in India is denied equitable access to nutritious food, education, and health. Akshaya Patra is currently the largest NGO school-feeding program in the world, feeding over 535,000 underprivileged children daily.

A New Combination of Works by Tania Sen Tania Sen will show a combination of works from her “Notion Motion” and “Breathe” series at the WATCHUNG ARTS CENTER in New Jersey. Tania draws her inspiration from movement and energy and attempts to introduce these elements into her work. Often she bases her work on popular dance productions such as “The Nutcracker.” Her “Breathe” series, based on yoga, also about breath and movement, captures the postures in light of the essence of human existence.
